The good Lord commands that homosexuals be punished in the worst of ways!

Who cares? Your religion is your business and has no place in denying others their rights. It's not as if their marriage affects yours, does it??

It is time to let people live their lives by their choice. What right does anyone have to tell other how to live?

The gay community should have the same rights as any other couple in our society. We practice freedom of religon but we tend to make laws that Christians feel should be. Gay couples live and stay together until death, why shouldn't they be alowed to marry. It should be a personal choice and NOT a law! Let them live a happy life and give them what they want. Insurances should be covering them both the same as a married couple. I am straight, I was brought up in the Christian faith and I know the Bible speaks against it. The Bible also says that we should not judge others. Therefore, it is a personal choice that the individuals envolved will answer for if it is to be. The rest of the population should not judge the gay population, that is for God to do.

Onceit is legal in this state, it will really be preached in the schools. They do it already, which interferes with my civil rights to declare to my children what God says about it. I do not need the public school system attempting to FURTHER erode faith as lies and bigotry. It is simply another sin.

We can end all this debate by declaring that the GOV shouldn't be in the matter of marraige in the first place!

Why can't anyone let people live happily with whomever makes them happy! Who are we to judge their lives. Is it better for a straight couple to go out on their husbands or wives to the bar at night and jump into bed with whomever they find will go?? Give me a break and lets let people live with who makes them happy.

Everyone has the same civil rights. You can not prevent someone from exercising their civil rights simply because they do not coincide with your religion. God is not a matter for the public school system anyway.If you want your religious views taught to your child either home-school them, or put them in a private school of your religious choosing.
