Love is love. It's not the government's job to define it.

I am confused. What does gay marriage have to do with religion? Okay, so your God tells you that two men can't love one another. Well my God tells me that I should eat bagels for breakfast every day. Is it right for me to make everyone else eat bagels every morning? NO! Gay marriage is a religious issue for CHURCHES. If your church does not want to marry two gay people, that's fine! Freedom of religion folks. But the state should not be making laws based off of any religion. So the religious argument is invalid. Once you lose that, I don't know what there is to argue. Love is love, and no one has the right to define it for other people. I don't have the right to force two married people to divorce, even if their marriage is terrible. That's THEIR CHOICE.
P.S. There are millions of Christians who believe in GLBT rights to marry. Your interpretation of the bible may be different than other people's.

I dont care one way or the other.
If God is against it, then he will deal with them in the afterlife....God didnt delegate his authority to the human race.
Live the way you want and keep the nanny state drivel for the kids.

Absolutely, gay marriage is a human rights issue. Allowing gay marriage will help a lot of people and won't hurt anyone.

Because gays are people and the only reason gays are not allowed to marry is because of the church and that is funny seeing as we have a separation of church and state.

What's church got to do with it? I don't believe in God and I despise religion. I think gay sex is perverted and serves no evolutionary purpose. Yea, you can find a lot of unintended uses for a lot of things. You can use your penis to play with. You can let your male buddy play with your penis. You can rig a snow blower to cut the grass. You can make your rectum a play ground for gerbils. You can do a lot of things that may or may not make sense. I think homosexuals are a freak of nature. Being born a homo is bad news just like cancer is bad news. I think you should be as positive as possible with the cards you have been dealt in life, but I don't think it's your right to soil institutions such as marriage with perverted applications to accommodate your own personal taste. Speaking of bad taste, buggery is a nasty practice and serves no purpose other than hedonistic pleasure. Heterosexual relations serve the purpose of propagation of the species and marriage provides a legal union to raise the offspring. I think that is the primary purpose of marriage. Why would we want to sully such an institution by making it a legal home for buggery?

I don't really support or oppose gay marriage. It doesn't effect me in any way, shape or form. You won't see me in a pride parade, or a protest against gay marriage . I can't find a real reason to go against gay rights logically, and fighting against something for religious reasons isn't what the governments for.
