I am a Christian and I don't believe God would approve of it, so I don't and no it is not being "hateful" or "hypocritical", I am just going by what my beliefs are and that is homosexuality is wrong so gay marriage is wrong.

As a born-again Christian, I am called to live my life in accordance with God's Word, through Jesus Christ, God' Son.
I make tons of mistakes every day, seeking God's forgiveness because I answer to God alone regarding the choices I make in my life. My desire is to live my life in a way that pleases Him.
Gay marriage is contrary to my Christian faith as well as my own personal belief. God says in the Bible marriage is between a woman and a man.
I do not say this to hurt anyone; this is my personal belief which is based on The Word of God.

Marriage is a union of two people who vow to love each other. We need more love in this day and age in order to properly focus on the bigger issues ie: war, hunger, disasters, ect. Peace comes in pieces!

Ever since the church became separated from the state, couples have been able to be wed by judges. Many of them do not have a belief system. Those marriages are not representing God at all; yet you say it's alright because they are men marrying women? When the church separated, so did marriage. Where's the argument here?

I believe there are some that have found some difficulty in conforming to society. In that process there sexual prefrences had been compromised. It just isn't right though.
SPD...Jeasus can judge, but in the mean time I just as soon not be around it.

We do have a Constitution some of us must learn to read it. Think about what freedom means. Become more involved in the thought of equality. Help save the planet, not try to enforce self proclaimed morals. We have gays defending our country as heroes against terrorist . Serving in our police departments , Fire men along with government leaders. Not leaving out hard working law biding tax paying citizens that make our community strong and free.

On local "community radio", the gays call themselves "queers", so is it OK? OK, I think there are going to be queers, no matter what I think is repulsive to me. They even have all the normal constitutional freedoms. Those freedoms don't include any "right", presumed or falsely bestowed, to change the definition of marriage. Call it a relationship or cluster-boink or whatever you want but don't try to call it a marriage. Dress up like opposite sexes and pretend to be married if you want but don't try to kid anyone else. If you want to make some legal pledge, then file some contract agreement, who cares? It will never be a "marriage"... EVER. Enjoy your lifelong friendships/affairs for what they are and stop trying to legitimize them by calling them something they are not. Every couple with a real marriage has every right to be disgusted by those who would parade their homosexuality as something equal to hetero. It isn't. Wake up people and wake up judges. Gay judges should recuse themselves from any hearings they would be biased in.

Gays have rights as well as "straight" people. Who are we to judge who is right and wrong.

If you want to talk "GOD", I do not think he or she would approve of your bigotry. What is that "commandment"? Love thy neighbor as you would yourself. Do not hide behind your Christianity just so you can speak out with ignorance. By the way, our United States Capital has accepted and approved Gay Marriages. So if you are against it perhaps moving to a third world country would be in your best interest. Certainly the US is not for you!!!

Absolutely not! My bible says "He who has ears, let him hear"(Matthew 11:15) This is another examlpe of us doing what we want instead of what God wants!

Paul, Fortunately, when I die I won't be standing before the U.S Capital! I will be standing before God...You might want to be more concerned about what God thinks instead of what the US thinks! Also, I would really appreciate it if you people would stop making this about "Loving thy Neighbor" or "Judging People" What this is called is "Having an Opinion" or "Belief"

Man and a woman is how life started and how it will continue...and I believe what the Word of GOD says about this. It is a mockery of the institute of Marriage. And GOD will deal with them.
