We are all human beings and should have the same equal rights to happiness. We are the land of the free and the home of the brave. Not the land of the hypocritical and discriminative.

Everyone should be entitled to love and happiness. Look at the divorce rate for same sex marriages?! Seriously.

This is the year 2010. Who cares who marries who, we are in the midst of a huge economic crisis. Marriage is a sham of an institution the state has no business licensing anyway.

Could you please present some statistics for your laughable claim? Seriously?

It shouldn't matter who you love and choose to spend your life with - if marriage is OK for anybody, then it is OK for all, regardless of sexual orientation.

if you don't support gay marriage. dont get gay married. but dont strip the right to love and be loved in return til death do part from people who's love is deeper than most could ever imagine.

Love is love. You can't choose who you fall in love with. If it's legal to get drunk and marry someone the night you meet because you're intoxicated, why can't marrying someone you love, no matter the gender, be legal, too?

My vote? My vote means nothing. Everyones vote means nothing according to the government. I'm always for gay marriage, heck, i've had my share of gay times. I find it fucked up, to know that our world is so messed up that we can't allow two people who LOVE each other to get married. It's just like male, female marriages, just with the same sex. It won't do us harm, they can raise children, get married, have sex, love, play, fight, kiss, hug, talk. They aren't aliens, they're HUMAN. Just like every other one of us.

I think nearly everyone has fallen in love with someone they shouldn't have...I've had it happen to me. It showed me that you can't choose who you fall in love with. I know gays/lesbians can't choose, either. I don't understand what the big deal is. You can't choose who you love, so you just have to accept it.
