Why would you not allow someone to get married? It's a right!

I lost a friend to people making fun of him for being homosexual. We can't allow people who disagree with gay rights to walk over these people. He was a great guy until he felt the need to kill himself. Besides, why does it even matter whether a person is gay or straight as long as they are a good person? Can't we look past that?

I am gay and I think it should be up to the person who they want to marry. It is unfair for anyone to tell you you cannot love the person you love. It's so ridiculous for religion to get in the way of a person's choice in a partner because it shouldn't matter. If they really believe in their religion, they should come to terms with the way their "God" has made humanity.

We should cherish all forms of love in this world. And in order to be a truly free and equal country, we must allow for the same opportunities to be allowed for ALL people. Marriage has transformed throughout the years, from business transaction where women were sold to a symbol of love and unity. It's time the law reflects this.

Gay rights are human rights. Love is universal.

Love is love. I'm a lesbian myself, but I have a ton of straight friends who feel the same way I do. Homosexuality is found in over a hundred species. Homophobia is found in only one.
