Gay Marriage Debate - Scottsdale, AZ

there is a gay couple down my block, been together for years. they are responsible citizens and good neighbors. Whom they wish to spend life with is fine with me.

Straight but not narrow

I support gay marriage just not because I am a lesbian, and I am not ashame of who I am. I support gay marriage as it should be considered "Equal Opportunity"..

I have been with the same person for 11 years. If something happened and I was in the hospital, someone who was narrow minded could use the law to keep my partner from visiting me. I am responsible and care for those around me. It's too bad some people enjoy hurting others. If you fear someone may turn you gay, just look inside yourself and you will find it's impossible to change who you really are. Sometimes I think maybe people who are hateful and prejudice may have been born that way and there is no changing that either. I am not here to judge others, just persue my own happiness and Love.

Why would ANYONE be against other people being HAPPY? Give ALL people their rights. This is just the last Civil Rights struggle.

Love is love, and it shouldn't matter if the person you want to marry is of the opposite sex or of the same sex.

Because everyone deserves the right to marry who they love, regardless of their gender.

Why does love have to be determined by gender?

Okay, let me explain something here. The bible says a lot of things, idiots. Did you know that it says you can't wear clothes that are a mixture of two animals? Yeah. And one part says that you can only shave the ends of your beard. If we all went by the bible, EVERYTHING would be different. Every person in the world sins every day. Every time you cuss our LIE even, you are sinning.
Get your heads out of your asses and look at the world; gays are human beings. God loves all human beings. One time this jack ass told a website that "God hates F**s" and the website (run by a machine) responded with "That is not true. Many time in the bible it is said that God loves all human beings. Therefore, he loves gay peopl." It's sad that machine is smarter than most of you people.
Besides, the Bible also says in Revelations that dragons are going to devour the earth and flames. That totally seems realistic, doesn't it?*heavy sarcasm*
I am a teenage christian girl. I have read through the whole bible, I go to church every sunday, and I atten youth group and have been confirmed. Every week out of the year I go to LA to feed the homeless. Every other Sunday, I feed the homeless. Every Christmas and Easter, I buy gifts for children who have a parent in jail.I make food for homeless families that stay in my church. Every year I go to a church camp as to be closer with God (which has made me cry in the past) Also every year, I atten the Youth Ministries Happening Event at my church. I have felt the Holy Spirit inside of my body once and I cried for hours.
I support gay marriage.
Does that make me a sinner?
Shame on you. It's sad that a teenager does more good that some rebulican adult sitting on his ass at the computer, talking about sinning.
Read the Bible all the way through. Some of those laws aren't made by God. Does that mean we should follow them?

If gay marriage isn't allowed, then marriage is an institution that supports no value. We have no right to limit love so long as it harms noone else
