The reason for a marriage is to procreate and make the family and the country stronger. A marriage between a man and a woman gives the children the best chance in all areas. Rasing children under any other circumstances can only give us less.

That said a majority of Americans don't believe same sex marriage is right. Everywhere the people are allowed to vote on the subject it goes down in flames.

I think everybody should have the right to marry who they wish. Who are we to judge?

Marriage is about commitment to and support of the person you love. Procreation is not the sole reason for marriage. If that were the case then every infertile couple or every couple not desiring children should be forcibly divorced. Marriages between the elderly beyond child-bearing age should not be allowed and every pregnant teenager should be forced to marry the baby-daddy regardless of their age. Since this is not being advocated, then your procreation logic fails.

Marriage is between two people who love each other. No one should have to care what the neighbors think and the neighbors need should stop peeping into others' bedrooms.
