Keep your religious arguments out of MY religion. If your religion doesn't support a same sex marriage then DON'T HAVE ONE!!! Don't try to legislate what ceremonies my religion can recognize and perform!!

If two people wish to tie the bond in marriage, so be it, what right do others have to say that this is wrong...let them look in their own closet and tell me they have never done anything wrong per their "guide".

I feel like if you love someone, no matter the gender, you should be able to marry said person.

Government should get out of the marriage game altogether...gay and straight. We are all individuals, the government should treat us as such. Making distinctions between citizens based on a piece of paperwork is not a good way for government to interact with the citizenry.

It is pretty sad.

Only in Minneapolis do real men have to be shipped in from another country.

If all do not have the same rights then maybe it should be that those who are not able to be married for what ever reason some law or religion on may give . Then should they have to pay taxes . I am sorry it gets as basic as that if everyone wants to find reasons why someone is not worthy of marriage or loving another . I did not know this world was meant for just one . Was it not meant for us all . Not matter how we all were born or what we choose in live ( with the exception of crime and cruelty to others ) which I have to say when we start to say someone is not allowed the rights that were granted all of us here in the United States then so be it . Tax free for you to live . This is a shame that how one loves another is more important then how we treat another .. We can quote what we want or make all the rules and laws we want it will never change the fact that love is love . If you want to start programing others look back in history and see how that all turned out . To see that what we stand for as a Nation is freedom , this needs to include freedom to love .
Acceptance is the first step to opening ones heart to seeing what is around you and what you may be missing and what others may have to offer .

Do not shut the door when you do not own the lock

Amen .

I wish this poll had more votes, I would really like to see exactly how anti-gay this town is. I Used to go to lincoln then I went to Studio in highschool, both of which were very liberal schools, so I don't know how the other schools are. But if RCTC is anything to go by, it seems like its on the surface open-minded but deep down, it's very conservative, very influenced by mayo.

Dies anyone agree of disagree?

Lol. Are you serious? You put my user name for your name? And, you realize that you just gave me a complement and supported transexual rights by calling me a (female to male) a boy! Yay! And actually, I identify As queer. Queer is now a sexuality/gender identity/whatever it's now a positive term.

And closet? What closet? I'm out, dude.

Really Epiphany26? Are you now having conversations with yourself? Playing both sides of the fence? Or just trying to stir up people? You are by far a "it".

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
