If you don't like gay marriage, don't get one.

Why would you oppose something that has no effect on you? You don't want to get married to someone of the same sex, fine. None of my business. Same goes for if you *do* want to get married to someone of the same sex. But if you don't want to get married to someone of the same sex and want everyone else to be the same way to the point of denying them a basic right, then I have a problem with you and your poor attitude. Surely you have better things to be doing with your life than getting mad that Susan and Elizabeth want to get hitched, or worrying about what Joe and Max get up to in bed.

It's natural in animals to have a sexual attractions to the same sex. Humans are animals too, so how could this be wrong?

I just don't understand how gay marriage would affect anyone that isn't gay. So if you don't necessarily support it, just don't get one, and just stay out of the way.

yes, animals have homosexual tendencies, but it is not NORMAL. Of course, the natural response to homosexual tendencies is that they can not procreate.

Fact of the matter is that the long term trend of human norms has been negative. Remember The Scarlet Letter? Now, extramarital affairs are a dime a dozen. Pornography? It's big business now. Inter-racial marriage? Common these days [though nobody talks much about physical maladies that can not be cured because the mixing of genes introduce new strains of diseases]. Where does it end?

Women menstruate beginning at the age of 12, so why not lower the age of consent? People bequeath their fortunes to their pets, so why not be allowed to marry your pet, or have sex with your pet?

Bottom line, marriage is a religious rite, and should not be a public policy dilemma. I would be more inclined to make laws marriage-neutral than to allow gay marriage.

It isn't a matter of like or dislike. It's a matter of right and wrong. homosexuality is clearly and unequivocally wrong.

Because I don't feel that I'm the center of the universe and that only what affects me is important.

Nothing is more unnatural. Animals are not homosexual.

We don't lower the age of consent because a 12 year old is not mature enough to make important decisions like who she has sex with.
How do you know that? How is "maturity" quantified?
We don't let people marry their pets because it's not a consensual relationship. There's no way for a pet to say "hey! i'm cool with this!"

The pet cannot speak, but it can certainly communicate in other ways. Homosexuals keep bleating about "love". My dogs clearly love me unconditionally.
Porn doesn't hurt anyone[/QUOTE

Pornography is extremely harmful to all involved.
We are not a Christian Nation
Seventy five percent of Americans identity as Christian, let alone all the other religious denominations.
therefore no laws should be made to endorse something solely because of Christian beliefs
You think that three fourths of the population should just be ignored because they are Christian ???

LOL

Daily Horoscope for June 20

Taurus

Don't believe everything you hear because someone is talking through their hat. They may have got the wrong end of the stick, even if they won't admit it. Alternatively, they might be trying to deceive you in some way, in which case they most certainly won't want to own up. So trust your instincts and listen out for any remarks that set your alarm bells ringing.
