You have it all wrong, the church was making up their own rules that did not go with the Bible. Gay marriage is strictly talked about in the Bible as wrong.

I think it is wrong and as a Christian I think God has to be sad. His word spoke against it back in the beginning of time and HIS word NEVER changes. NEVER
I think our nation has gone crazy, there are no morals being taught to our kids and we can see the trouble we are in.

God will only turn his back on the ones that deny him, murders, abusers, sexual molesters and gays will all have their places next to god, they will make amends with god and he will alllow everyone who walks with him.

I love how you all hide behind your bibles and you religion to rationalize your bigotry and ignorance. You all have the right to your own opinions, of course. However, mine is that it shouldn't matter to the government who marries who. If churches don't want to sanction it. Fine. Unfortunately our government doesn't want to give out tax breaks to millions more people.
Didn't Jesus walk the walk of tolerance and love for all? We are all sinners.

What if someone told you that you could not marry the person you love? How would that make you feel? This is america. If you dont like it then dont look or quit being so closed minded!

I'm not. It's the fact that God says it's wrong. End of story, there is no argument.

He will forgive anyone of their sins but if they continue in that sin, they weren't sorry and repentant in the first place.
Go and sin no more doesn't mean He forgives and excuses the person if they just keep on doing the sin.

Well, why isn't it? What makes their love different than everybody elses? And who decides so, and what gives them the right to?
