Perhaps you mean "every child deserves one father and one mother", and if so, then why is it assumed that single parents can effectively raise children? Perhaps you are attempting to imply homosexuals are incapable of raising a child. Well some most definitely are, but that has nothing to do with their sexuality but with their character and constitution. Furthermore, there are plenty of heterosexuals who are incapable of raising a family effectively, but the law permits them regardless.
Perhaps you are making claim that homosexuals are incapable of raising a biological family and therefore have no need for marriage. Then what is to be made of heterosexual couples who are infertile or who simply do not wish to have children? Are they, too, not to be allowed marriage and its subsequent benefits?
The definition of a family is very broad and it would be foolish to place such a limited definition to it.

There are some people strongly against homosexuality in this area. The mob mentality is causing a lack of education and acceptance of something that IS NORMAL. There are enough people who support ALL in our community. I am quite accepting of all kinds of love and all kinds of people and am only asking that the ignorant people filled with hate keep their mouths shut. My mother always used to tell me (also Disney)," If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
Either way, no law can invalidate the love that I hold. People can accept it or not but it will not change the fact.

Gay Marriage is inevitable. Whether it happens now or 20 years from now it IS going to happen. This is the trend of every civil rights issue. When you cant sleep at night because your neighbors are the same sex it says a lot more about you then it does about them.

These are obviously very educated people . Truckers wife probably is on Medicaid , gets food stamps and sits on her ass and pumps out babies to procreate her apostolic views and morals . I find it very hard to believe that someone just wakes up on the "wrong" side of the bed and decides , hey I'm going to be gay today . I'm going to put a huge target on my back and be a wrongfully treated minority . I'm sure that's what all homosexual people do. SINCE there is SUPPOSED to be separation of church and state, there is no reason not to allow gay marriage. What I mean by this is if you support your anti-gay marriage argument with anything involving a god, a church, or a religious leader or text, it is not valid for this topic. Also invalid are views that in any way confuse LGBQTA rights with pedophilia or bestiality.
And if gay marriage was allowed, none of you homophobes would be forced to marry someone of the same gender... your church wouldn't be forced to perform gay marriage ceremonies...you'll still be allowed to disown any family members who don't pretend to be straight when they aren't... so how is our social agenda and lifestyle being forced on you?

The only separation of church and state in Idaho is the mormons separating as much money from the state as they can and keep it for the church.

Love shouldn't be defined by the law. Being told who I can and cannot marry by the government places me in the category of a Second Class Citizen, and I am NOT a Second Class Citizen. I am more than that. I am a human being.
