Committed, monogamous relationships are good for society. I would rather see gay couples in life long unions than running around from one guy to another.

I believe that every person has the right to love whom they desire. For it's not desire that gay people want it's what god installed in them. If people would open there hearts and not there minds they would understand that god made each and everyone of use. So who do you think made a gay person have those desires? I know your going to say the devil but all people are gods creation and children first and foremost. Let them live there lives in peace and not the hate that our children have been tought and passed down to each generation. It's not hurting you, only the person that loves there partner and doesn't have the same rights as a man and a woman. No I'm not gay and yes I had to come to terms with a gay child. One that hide it for years afraid of what I would think. So sad that it really wasn't a life for my child. If I can open my heart to her and her partner then anyone can come to terms with same sex marriage. It was Oboma who said we need change. Well I know that this is one of those changes. We can and need to find a way to do so. So that we don't have anymore children commiting suicide or cutting themselfs. Or doing drugs to try and numb the pain that they go through day in and day out. What if it were your child would you turn your back? Imagine your child came home and said I'm gay. Would you hate them and turn them away? I would hope not becasue a parent love unconditional right? No you would deal with it and move on and hope that your child is in a happy and loving relationship. Someone who loves them for who they are, and not into something worse like a spouse who beats them drugs or worse, DEAD. We can grow people and it takes people to stand up and let others know it's not ok to tell someone that it's shamefull for their feelings. Can't we all just agree to get along and stop trying to control others lives because it's not your belief. And yes I am a christian and I know that god is almighty and one day (soon) gay people can win their god given right. To be who they are and marry who they love. Thank you and I pray that gay people get the chance to marry. Not long ago people thought that to own a slave was the right thing, and thank god we don't believe that anymore. I believe that this as bad for gays and they should have the right to marry the love of their life and have a family if they wish.

i support for the simple fact that love is love, and it should not matter if a man loves another man or a woman loves another woman.
