It's a Freedom Of Religion issue, protected by the First Amendment, it's a state's rights issue, protected under the Tenth Amendment, and an Equal Protections issue protected under the 14th Amendment.

No. It's not a union. We DEMAND Equality ! Nothing more. Nothing less.

Having our Marriages legally recognized is the ONLY thing we will accept.

I'm assuming you are an older person. 50 or older? When you where younger there where probably things going on the the older generation said the same thing about and you disagreed with.
Get with the times. Leave the lesbians/Gays alone. They are not hurting anyone. There are plenty of other things going on in this world that will affect you directly that you should be more concerned with. Like the economy, the environment, the fact that taxes are rising and our goverment is run by a bunch of morons. Especially the govenor of our great state of new york.
I doubt in anyway the lesbian/gay community is affecting you. Unless one of your kids are lesbian/gay and in that case that is a personal issue you need to work out.

You are aware it is 2010 not 1950.
Now your getting ridiculous. What do lesbians/Gays do that bother you. What these people do behind closed doors is none of your business. Whats wrong you have a problem with seeing 2 men hold hands or kiss in public.
Pedophilia is a different story. How can you compare the two. Pedophilia is a sickness and will never be accepted in society.
Maybe you should move to a country like Sri Lanka. Being gay is illegal there. Enjoy your trip

Everyone has the right to get married. As a heterosexual, I don't see the world going to hell in a handbasket, if gays marry. Who cares?

Friday, June 24th 2011 will go down in infamy in the State of New York as the day that four trusted Republican legislators sold their souls and their votes to the Sodomites and *** VOTED AGAINST PRESERVING TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE ***

We have it in our power as voters to ensure that this never happens again with these false Republicans. These are their names...

(1) JAMES S. ALESI - Monroe County New York

*** VOTED AGAINST PRESERVING TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE ***

(2) MARK GRISANTI - Western New York

*** VOTED AGAINST PRESERVING TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE ***

(3) ROY J. MCDONALD - Rensselaer, Saratoga Counties New York

*** VOTED AGAINST PRESERVING TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE ***

(4) STEVEN M. SALAND - Columbia and Dutchess Counties New York

*** VOTED AGAINST PRESERVING TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE ***

NEVER FORGET THOSE FOUR NAMES.

If any of these these creatures ever dares to run for public office in this State again...

VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!
VOTE THEM OUT !!!!!!

Clearly, most opposition is either 1. religious or 2. irrational. This should not be a legal matter. The times are changing, and society is evolving. People need to accept things as they are.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aries

Keep a firm grip on your money today to avoid anyone else getting their mitts on it. If you're out in public you should keep your wallet or bag clamped to your side, just in case it goes walkabout. You should also make sure you check any bills and invoices that you're given, in case they contain a mistake. It's a day when errors and deceptions are highly likely.
