There is nothing wrong with it... people are just still primitive and it's in their nature to try and suppress others... we've done it since the beginning of time and will continue to do it. It'll eventually be accepted by the world, but they'll find another thing to hate on I assure you that.

Jennifer wrote: Love is everywhere That's very interesting, however this isn't the "love" discussion, it's the debate on whether we should extend the marriage franchise to homosexuals.

Enrica wrote: No explaination needed - Marriage is between a Man & a Woman. Really ... why.... Tell me since marriage is a binding legal contract, why should two u.s. citizens be denied the rights that come with this contract? Remember we are not a theocracy so don't use the Bible as your reason because it has nothing to do with the law. Also remember that just because this is the way its always been is not a correct answer. If it was women would never be allowed to vote because up untis the sufferage amendment that is the way it had always been. Also Blacks would not have the rights they do now because up until MLK that was the way it always had been. So keeping that in mind tell us why two u.s. citizens together for 15 years who happen to be a ssc should enjoy less rights than a couple married 15 minutes
