you do not choose to be attracted/fall in love with anyone. it happens and doesn't take into account what other people say. it's no one's business but the ones who have a desire to make a commitment to each other.

It's a basic civil right.

Marriage is a civil contract and a basic civil right.

I think that two people who are in love and committed to each other should be able to marry if that's what they choose. It does not impact me or my life, family in any way.

when we give up on God,He will give up on us...look around you, its already happening to the good ol' united states...He will turn His back on us as we are to Him...yes,i agree homosexuals have rights just like heterosexuals ..civil rights to civil ceremonies,but do not ask to sanctify in a catholic church that which is un-sanctifiable and that deviates from the Lords plan...marriage is union between man and woman/go forth and multiply and populate the Earth...last time i checked,guys+guys and girls+girls still cant do that.....now all you liberals can yapyapyap

"Go forth and multiply" - Your interpretation is narrow. Many gay couples DO multiple, just in a different way. They bring forth and nurture loving families. Any fool can "multiply," and many do, only to then neglect and abuse the product of their supposedly "holy" union. It's called random, unprotected sex. I doubt that was God's plan, but heterosexuals do it ALL THE TIME!! Gee... who would you rather see raise a child .. Ellen Degeneris or Charles Manson?

No one ever asked the church to sanctify a gay marriage, just a legal state marriage.
