Love is love.

People deserve equal rights regardless of gender. Marriage isn't just a word. It's an institution with loads of benefits for opposite-gender couples over same-gender couples.

To love another being is to love a soul, not a gender.

Do I really need to explain that not just the sentiment but the spousal hospital visit and other important rights are owed all human beings?

You fall in love with a person, not a gender.

I am not straight and I would like it to be legal to marry and have a future with someone I love, whether they are male, female or identify with anything in-between. We should have the same rights as straight married couples do. That shouldn't change just because we are of the same sex, or identify as something different. It's still love, when you get down to it.

If two people love each other, they should be able to get married. It's really quite simple. It's not that damn hard to understand. Stop suppressing people's lives because you can't deal with something you don't understand. I will support gay marriage wholeheartedly until this country is rid of its idiotic laws based in the beliefs of old bigots who think they can tell others how to live their lives.

for thousands of years marriage has been defined as a union shared between a man and a woman, and it should remain so.

everyone should have equal rights

Marriage is for everyone, it's a sign of love & commitment ... why should gay people be deprived of that???

it is not important who you love. whats important is THAT you love.

Everyone that is an American Citizen, is ENTITLED to by our Constitution, to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of HAPPINESS. We all deserve the FREEDOM, too!!
