Yea the Bible does state man and woman BUT if a man and man or woman and woman wanna get married its their business not ours.... they be the ones who pay..... so get over it

I feel as though it is a shame that some people
are so closed minded that they can't except Gay Marriages. We should not judge Gay couples for wanting to be married. No one can help who they fall in love with. I myself am not Gay, but I have Gay friends and honestly they are just like you and I. They have feelings just as we do. So, the Bible says the act of marriage is clearly defined and says a man and and women makes marriage. If the Bible said
to jump off a bridge on a certain date and time would
we all line up and do so? I honestly don't believe so.

Many seem to claim that the bible is the rule of law, & that's fine. They're entitled of their own opinion. But they are by no means allowed to judge others if they are to uphold their sacred book.

Same-sex marriage is not an abomination, rather it is a necessity for love to be untouched except for those who are in love themselves.

If a man wants to be with another man, that is their choice. If a woman wants to be with another woman, then that's their choice. I by no means see anything wrong with same-sex marriage, even though I, myself, am straight.

I say legalize same-sex marriage now. Do the right thing & allow love to be chosen by the loved, not by the haters.

The Bible also says "Love thy neighbor " , not " judge thy neighbor "!!!! I don't think God agrees with his people judging others and giving them a hard time just because they do not live as you think they should . I'm not for gay marriage but it just burns my buns to see how some ppl use their "religion" to make others lives difficult .

To all who disagree please understand that the USA fled from England to be free. We are suppose to have a separation of church and state. Otherwise how are we different? There are many things that the Bible says, but it don't stop everyone from eating shrimp or pigs. Please understand that the Bible was suppose to bring man together for God, not to beat each other up with it. Let each be there own, and worry about your own. Let all people have equal rights and not overlook a minority.

Growing up in Mount Airy honestly caused me to have a certain mindset and belief system. Mount Airy is full of people of love and people who show concern for their neighbor. NC is now on the verge of becoming a state who will continue to love their neighbor or who will reject and condem. Personally for myself God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are representations of love who show us how to love others and ourselves.

Agreeing completely ....

Separation of church and state was written to prevent the state from imposing its own religion on the people. It's supposed to limit the power of the state, not the power of religion.

I don't see how it's anyone's business if two consenting adults want to get married.

Love is love and every deserves equal rights regardless of ANY opposition. I don't like religion, but I'm not telling you that you shouldn't be allowed to worship. FCKH8.com It's not right to tell people what they can and can not do with their lives.
