Who cares love who you wish many people continue to believe that homosexuality is about nothing but sex, considering it to be merely a sexual perversion. The reality is that homosexuality is multidimensional, and is much more about love and affection than it is about sex. And this is what gay relationships are based on -- mutual attraction, love and affection. Sex is a means of expressing that love, just the same as it is for heterosexuals. Being gay is much more profound than simply a sexual relationship; being gay is part of that person's core indentity, and goes right the very center of his being. I am not gay, I have two girls and a wife.

I've never understood why gay marriage threatens heterosexual marriage more than divorce and adultery (which are legal) do. Why is a loving relationship a bad example?

Well, that's kinda the point. Unless you mean "gay" as a synonym for stupid--then it's not. And by the way, that is so stupid to insult someone like that. How would you like it if your identity--gender related or not--became synonymous with "stupid?" I'm just suggesting that maybe people should pick and chose the words they use.

How about this: "And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is this:'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31)

By stopping people from openly declaring their love of one another, how are you upholding this? Because those verses are what Jesus says when he was asked what the most important commandments are.

i remember a time when the word "gay" was much more innocuous. i hate what they've done to it.
