America's Constitution promised equality for ALL and SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.

Keep your church out of my state!

Your religion is not my law.

Leviticus also calls abominations eating shellfish and pork, wearing two different types of materials on your body at the same time, premarital sex, not sacrificing animals to give thanks, and cutting your beard, etc.

You pick and choose, and that's hypocrisy!

i think everyone should be treated equal and be able to marry who they want. america is suppose to be the home of the free, so why cant people be free to marry and do what they want. its not like its going to affect anyone elses lives. i think gay marriage should be allowed every where. love is love whether it be a sin or not. people cant help the way they feel and who they love. if so im sure alot of people would make other decisions to keep from being hurt.

Oh people should just be freeee to do what they want, right?
Let's just scap every law and regulation on the books and we can all justdo as we please...whoopity doo dah dingbats.
This so called 'dicrimination' against you gays is NOTHING like the discrimination was against Blacks or women. Actually if it wern't for the disgusting behaviour by the flamers in San Franfreako where dudes prance down the streets wearing nothing but a an athletic supporter , leather and a leather hat...fondling and carressing eather other and shouting how they're queer and they're here, you might have a lil better rep.

Your teenage daughters that are walking around six months pregnant and rubbing their stomach like it's something to be proud of. All sins are created equal so you're not any better than a married gay person. And actually by judging them you're creating another sin. So quit hiding behind a bible. Because God won't defend you any more than he would a gay person. You will get the same consideration for any lie you've told any man or woman you've slept with before marriage. Any thing you've wanted your neighbor had. You really sit and think it's still any of your business?

Separation of church and state is not in the Constitution? HAHAHAHAHHAHA

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ...."

That means YOUR religous beliefs CANNOT be enforced as MY law because that forces YOUR religion on me. I may not believe the same or may not believe AT ALL and that's protected under, YES, the Constitution of the US!!!

And you call ME an idiot?

Reflecting a concept by English political philosopher John Locke, the phrase "separation of church and state" is generally traced to the letter written by Thomas Jefferson in 1802 to the Danbury Baptists in which he referred to the First Amendment of the United States Constitution as creating a "'wall of separation' between church and state."

This phrase was quoted by the United States Supreme Court first in 1878, and then in a series of cases starting in 1947. This led to increased usage of this concept of freedom of religion and protection from one specific religious law based on the FIRST AMENDMENT.

Under the United States Constitution, the treatment of religion by the government is broken into two clauses: the establishment clause and the free exercise clause. While both are discussed in the context of the separation of church and state, it is more often discussed in regard to whether a certain state's actions would amount to an impermissible government establishment of religion.

The first amendment protects the free expression of ANY AND ALL religious faith while at the same time denying it as a force to establish American LAW.

The phrase "separation of church and state" was further popularized by President John Tyler in the 1840s. Since then, the United States Supreme Court has referenced the separation of church and state of the FIRST AMENDEMENT in cases more than 25 times, citing its constitutional basis in protecting American citizens.

The United States is actually recognized as the first country to completely dis-establish its government from any religion in its Constitution, which was ratified in 1791.

I'm against low-IQ breeders having children, and I don't think freedom of speech should apply to bigotry.

That doesn't mean I am going to run my cake hole about it all the damn time! Get over yourselves and your Bibles-- I bet you don't follow half of what the Bible teaches, but just because you are straight--you want to jump on a high horse on that issue because there is at least one good issue where you can feel moral and ethical.

Well what about all the other?, such as not judging and "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and "Love your neighbor" and not defiling your body (tattoos, smoking, drinking) and not embracing worldly things (computers, internet, TOPIX) and not gossiping (that's all topix is), no premarital sex, no divorce, and no lying, cheating, or stealing.

EVERYONE SINS AND ITS NOT YOUR PLACE TO JUDGE WHAT GOD WANTS AND DOESNOT WANT. That's arrogant and presumptious. You should be humble and meek in the eyes of your God, and that's in your Bible!!!!

Gay marraige is not wrong, people feel the way they do and no one can change that. People love who they want to love and they cant help that. So why dont you just mind your own lives and leave them alone. And argue about something that actually matters. "People shouldnt judge because they are not god and they are not in his shoes to judge". I am not gay but I am not going to look at them any different than any other person. I don't mean to offend any one and if I did I am sorry. But it is not up to any of us to judge them because we don't hold that right to.
Sorry Gays

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Virgo

You have energy to burn today and it needs positive outlets, otherwise you'll be rather ratty and impatient. You want to work on activities that will show you in a good light, and you'll be annoyed if anyone objects to what you're doing or points out where you're going wrong. If you've been nursing a secret passion for someone, the frustration will really get to you.
