in my veiw as a wiccan there should be a male and female. its against any aspect of life to produce offspring. that cant be acheived if gays are together

the real question should be- why not support gay marriage? Seriously. I see people saying it goes against God's word. Okay, but look at society today. Do you honestly think God is happy with all the murder, rape and who knows what else going on? I think not.

And as for reproducing. So are you saying the barren women out there shouldn't be allowed to marry because they can't have kids? And what about people who just don't want kids? I don't want kids. Am I not allowed to get married because I don't want to be a baby making machine?

I am proud to be the first on this map from my pathetic little town to be in support of gay marriage if they honestly think marriage is only for reproduction or against God's word.

I don't know where you are getting your info on Wiccans David.......but as a fellow Wiccan and High Priest I am ashamed of you "David". No where in the Wiccan faith does it state anything about your absurd claims. There are plenty of beautiful male/ male and female/ female Wiccan couples out there. In Handfasting...the same as marriage in our tradition.....many are united wituout regard to gender.

Why does it matter if it's God's will or Goddess for that matter? I am a believer in Christ, but part of that is not judging others. If they want to marry someone of the same gender than so be it. It is their choice. It is not our job as people to judge or condemn but for some reason we do this daily. This may seem bad, but let people make their own choices and live their own lifestyle. It's their life not ours....

In the past there was a severe social stigma against unmarried couples living together, let alone having children. This is no longer the case. So there is no longer any reason for couples not planning on having children to marry.
