Unless there is a compelling secular reason to prevent something, it should be allowed. There is no compelling secular reason to prevent same-sex marriage.

I guess if we can tolerate foot sex, sex-doll sex, behind-the-knee sex, animal sex, corpse sex, and cybersex; we can afford to tolerate one more fetish that affords those who participate in it nothing more than sexual gratification. And, if we can admit that love is universal and exists between all the parties involved then I suppose we don't have a problem.
However, if we have a problem with anyone doing anything sexual with anyone/thing else then it may be wise to nip this gay marriage thing before the legal rights of fetishes becomes uncontrollable.

It allows homosexual material into the elementary schools and that's just wrong, especially when there is no opt out option for parents.

Legs can't consent legally.
Dogs can't consent legally.
A guy CAN consent legally.
You have a problem with consenting adults entering into a legal contract with each other. Fascinating. You'd think someone claiming to be logical would...you know...be logical.

Logic says pns + pns =/= kid. Vag + vag =/= kid. Making relation where reproduction is 100% impossible = silly.

It almost comes down to a personal reference and I don't think we need another fight off supporting or opposing. My personal view, same sex marriage is against the flow of universe, against the bond of positive/negative. Anyway, I do not allow same sex marriage in my family. My neighbors? I could care less 'cuz I don't think they want me getting nosy into their own business.

So, you're saying that reproduction is why we have marriage? Then, why do we allow people incapable of reproduction to marry? You are aware, aren't you, that marriage's roots have nothing to do with reproduction, right? If you're going to try a "tradition" argument, that fails. If you're going to try a "reproduction" argument, you've just failed. Got anything else, other than "ewwwwww?"

So, you don't allow your grown adult relatives to marry people of the same sex? How do you prevent that from happening? And, why do you interfere in your family's life but not your neighbor's life? Why do you punish people for being related to you?

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
