So.....if OPPOSITE sex couples cannot have children they should be allowed to marry? What about ELDERLY couples who will have no children? I do not understand your "children" rationale.....please explain!

What about people who commit Adultery? What about divorced people? What about sex outside of marriage? What about unwed "baby mommas?" Or...is your HATE limited only to one "moral" outrage? Try reading the words of JESUS, who taught compassion, love, peace, understanding and being NON-judgemental...and He NEVER mentioned homosexuality!

no jc-

I understand your fear in explaining this to your children. Here's something to think about and consider. It's most likely you who will have a problem with it, not your child. They might think it's weird to see two men or two women kissing and holding hands simply because society (we) have made it to be weird.

Two consenting adults, who are in love, hold hands and kissing. That's not so weird.

And as for your other comment, something to ask yourself-so all the heterosexual people who can't reproduce shouldn't marry either?

Our Constitution prides itself on its basis of equality but yet here we are.. if I want to legally marry the woman of my dreams then I should be allowed to do so. I’m a human, I’m equal.

I support gay marriage because there are heterosexual couples who choose not to up hold the sanctity of marriage. Sanctity of marriage has nothing to do with the gender of the couple, it has to do with the couple's mutual love and respect of each other that they choose to stay together out of that love and respect.

Really? Maybe you shouldn't be having children then, because there will be a lot of difficult subjects and things you will have to explain to them. That's a part of being a parent. State your feelings on the subject and allow your child to make their own mind up.
Your rationale makes little to no sense.

Who are we to judge? I'm a straight woman who loves God more than anything. But I 100% support gay rights. I think they should be allowed to get married and have every right a straight couple does.

Folks Bible arguments are invalid, because not everyone is christian.... and god's existence? well lets just say it's questionable.

Though If you really are going to go with what the bible says. On top of persecuting the homosexuals you would also have to support:

1.Reinstating slavery because apparently its okay to own another human being according to god.
(1 Timothy 6:1-2)(Exodus 21:20-21)Luke 12:47-48)

2.Not just reinstate slavery but allow us to sell our daughters to slavery too (Exodus 21:7-11)

3.Take away women's rights because apparently they are inferior (I Cor. 14:34-36, I Timothy 2:8-15, I Peter 3:1-7, Ephesians 5:22-24, Col. 3:18-19)

4. Working on the sabbath is subject to death penatly(Exodus 31:12-15)

5. Support the execution of followers of other religion ((Deuteronomy 17:2-5)(Deuteronomy 13:7-12)

6. Death to women who are not virgins on their wedding night, pretty much anyone who had pre marital sex.(Deuteronomy 22:20-21)

7. Death to anyone who has ever cheated on their spouses (Leviticus 20:1)

8.Oh death to anyone who has hit their dad (Exodus 21:15)

9.Death to anyone who cruses their mom and dad (leviticus 20:9)

10. Death to the fortune tellers as well (Exodus 21:15)

And there's a bigger litany in Leviticus where eating pork, rabbit, having different types of woven threads, planting different crops in one field, touching a woman on her period, etc are suppose to be immoral, and you should support that as well.

So why Cherry pick? Why curse the gays but eat pork chops, wear polyester cotton blends, and have sex before marriage? What is the criteria of which bible verse to follow? Do you have a direct pipeline to god?

If you think any of these bronze age laws are moral, you are the abomination.

What's the big deal? If you love someone you should be able to marry them, regardless of gender.

So wait, I have to listen to all you cocky people in JC scream "oh he's a fag" while I'm walking into Walmart, but you can't explain why two guys are holding hands? Really? I have been in a relationship for 3years. We are both very well known in JC and can not understand even to this day why we have to deal with hate crimes! I'm living my day to day life normal, I just love another Guy. I don't make fun of all the black couples having 10 children even though I'm paying the taxes they use to buy their pot. Respond to that one!

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Leo

You need to vary your domestic routine slightly today to avoid feeling bored or restless, especially if the day threatens to be rather predictable. Think of ways to introduce a note of spontaneity into the proceedings, even if they're very minor, because they'll make you feel more lively and on the ball. If you're going shopping you'll be tempted by some impulse buys.
