Marriage as ordained by God, between one man and one woman for the propose of procreation and mutual support has been the building block of civilized society for time and memorium. If a Republican is a sodomite he lives his life quietly and privately. If a demorat/liberal is a sodomite they want legislation to protect their debatchery and normal people to approve, support and embrace their sick and criminal behavior.

I support the notion of a progressive society that is accepting of all.

The state shouldn't try to force something on individuals belief/ religions... asides from that gays still have civil union which is like marriage.... there is no need to drag the church into this and offend religious people

Marrige is a government institution as well as religious one. I am not God and therefore do not have the right to judge anyone on who they love, so long as that love is consensual and between adults.

People should be allowed to love who they love and marry who they want to marry.

Who am I to tell someone they can't marry the person they love?

I don't see anything wrong with gay people getting married. It is no ones else's business. You relegious assholes need to stop being ignorant. People aren't going stop being gay even if you oppose against them being married. Gay people seem to have happier relationships compared to hetrosexual relationships. Stop living your life following an old book.
