Gay Marriage Debate - Houston, TX

Who said "the left" is trying to redifine " marriage" for everyone? The left wants the inconstitutionality of prohibiting sex same couples the right to marry to to be recognized not to force all gay couples to marry, but for all citizens to have the same right and by the way the u.s supreme court already officially came to the conclusion that is unconstitutional to prohibit same sex marriages. Gay people will be at the polls in large amounts to vote out the people that's against it.

There are no couple's rights in the Constitution nor any gender equality right. Keep to the words, the law is on our side.

Come to the polls, that's the way to convince your neighbors. Take you out of touch activist judges back to the woodshed. US Supreme Court precedent for allowing states to define marriage between husband and wife is Baker v. Nelson. They reviewed the trial and upheld the verdict as mandatory review.

Let's go to the courts, too. If necessary, we'll amend our constitution.

Everyone has the right to be happy so the choice of partners should not be an issue.

you're already a loser the supreme court allowed gay marriages in 7 states, be my guest go to court and try to over turn it, you got a lot of work ahead dude.

The US Supreme Court hasn't reviewed a same sex marriage case since Baker v Nelson where it upheld the state's right to define marriage as husband and wife.

Loving v Virginia is US Supreme Court precedent for husband/wife marriage.

Keep marriage between husband and wife because here in Texas, it's defined that way by the Constitution.

did you know that the constitution here in texas violates the constitution nationwide? What part of proihibiting same sex marriages is unconstitutional don't you understand? None of those marriages have been tested before the US Supreme Court. Every marriage case the US Supreme Court has reviewed, was between man and woman.

Precedent and law, people are supposed to know what to expect from justice.

justice has been served and is official!!! We have 7 states and "Will Not" give up!!!!!

We have many more states that have amended our Constitution to protect marriage.

The US Supreme Court has a message called 'precedent' in Baker v Nelson, states may define marriage as husband and wife.

Keeping marriage between man and woman has nothing to do with hate since every gay was born of a mother and father.
