This is a "free" country, so why shouldn't two people who care enough about each other to make that kind of commitment have the same "rights" as someone who was almost killed in Vietnam has??????

These are citizens who want the same as our bill of rights give. Whether or not to judge is for God not man. I have never asked anyone to get married and should not have to either as Americans.

What's to explain? The Bible didn't say anything at all about "Adam & Steve." Besides, gay marriage is an affront to traditional man/woman marriage, not to mention an obvious plot to gain medical benefits, etc.

Read the Bible and what it says about gays and their lifestyles......read what God, The Supreme Being says about gays and please do not try to twist God's word around to make it seem that it is OK with Him and that He loves gays!

Could you please explain yourself? Will you please differentiate between the two, as there is absolutely no comparison? I'm having trouble trying to figure out what you're talking about.....

Our country isn't governed by the "Laws of the Bible".

Hey, I'm in a man/woman marriage, as you put it, and I'm not affronted by gay marriage. Why you care what other people do in their bedroom is beyond me.

Medical benefits? What does that have to do with the Bible logic you were pushing earlier.

You just have personal biases and feel as if you have some right to control others.

Then I'm glad you're happy in your man/woman relaionship. I've enjoyed mine for almost 50 years. Incidently, I couldn't care less what someone else does in their bedroom, but when they make it public, and turn it into a three ring freak show, then it invites public opinion. Medical benefits don't have a thing to do with "Bible logic," but they are a reality, nonetheless. Lastly, I many have a few of what you call "personal biases," but they're mine. I don't personally give a damn what you or anybody else thinks. My opinions are mine, and I will not apologize for them.

To have gay marriage illegal isnt only against the constitution but against our basic natural right to love whoever we please.
If we dont legalize gay marriage then we are just showing our children how to be intolerant and hate others that dont practice their own beliefs. And im pretty sure the founders of this country were fleeing oppression like that when they created this great country.

It doesnt matter what the bible says over 30% of AMERICANs dont believe that crazy bullshit anyways so it doesnt apply to our laws. Did you forget seperation of church and state?
And I dont remember gay marriage in the 10 commandments or the bible but alot about not judging others and loving thy neighbors.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aquarius

You won't like it if you feel your wings are being clipped today. You want to do something in particular, only to discover that someone is objecting to your plans or that circumstances beyond your control are standing in your way. Although your instincts tell you to throw a tantrum to get your point across, you must ask yourself what this will achieve, and whether it will actually be self-defeating.
