I want to marry bacon. The government has no business getting between me and my maple smoked pork.

Why should a person's sexual orientation be the determining factor for a government issued license?

i support gay marriage because i believe that no one has the right to tell someone who they can love and who they are allowed to marry. it's all about equality, every human no matter what age, race or sexual preference, should be treated equally.

Marriage is between a man and a woman. Same sex marriages are contrary to Biblical teaching.

It's not about religon -- not every body believes in the same belief. we as Americans have the freedom of religon but then were going to make a law bases on religon , can someone please tell me how that makes sense

It's called freedom of religon - and straight people sin all the time. People have ons & nobody goes and start trying to oppose that & make laws to restrict what they could do

We didn't & do not have to vote about straight marriage and we shouldn't over gay marriage - marrying who you want should be a human right no matter your ethnicity or sexual preferences

This isn't a religon issue & we can't make it one because not everyone believes the same thing.

That's right. Which one of you religious types wants to tell me I cannot get married to bacon. I love bacon and want to spend the rest of my life with it.

God made man and woman to be fruitfull and mutiply .You are living in the end of times .The way I see every who marries the same sex ,it's them that have to pay. The people that give them the right will have to pay .We are doomed no matter what happens here .I ask in Gods name that you homo's and lesbians reach out to God if you pray hard enough ,you will be redeemed .God made Adam and Eve to reproduce . Not Adam and Steve .Nor ELLEN and Eve .

Seriously? How much credence can you give to people on ANY subject when they believe the Earth is only 6,000 years old?

As a Christian, the Bible states, in multiple places, that marriage is between a man and a woman. I support this as Christians should.
