Biblically, mariage should be between a man and a woman only.

If you're happy going against God's word, then I guess it's the middle of the road for you, huh?

Does every single civil law need to have a Biblical litmus test? That's a rhetorical question.

There's a lot of things in God's word that many go against.

The Bible says God put all seed bearing plants on this earth for us. Does that mean you support the legalization of marijuana?

I'm sorry, but the institution of marriage was destroyed long before same sex marriage became an issue.

Huh?

First off, of course there's alot of things in God's word that people go against - that's called "sin". Nobody is perfect, but we are supposed to strive to obey God's word.

Secondly, the "seed bearing plants" is referring to the edible kind. Obviously, the Bible doesn't address "smoking" the seed bearing plants. As far as "lagalizing marijuana", what's that got to do with any of this?

The institution of marriage, as God has stated in the Bible, is to remain intact, no matter what, except if a husband, or wife, commits adultery. That is the only reason God condones divorce. Once again, it is sinful ways that destroys a marriage.

Exactly, the state should be completely out of the marriage business.

America already tried the "separate but equal" thing with whites & "coloreds". Didn't work out so well.

So atheists can't get married?

From where I sit, the church shouldn't be sticking their nose into the legal definition of marriage.

If someone wants to sin its not the church's job to point/yell/etc. at that person. Love like God loved.
I'm not saying the church should act like sin is nothing. But love 1st.
