Gays can get married right now just not to someone of the same sex -- marriage predates government or Christianity and has always been between men and women.
The majority of Gay males do not want to get married -- some countries over in Europe have allowed gay marriage and very few take advantage of it.

It's really sad when people not only don't accept our NATURAL sexual preference but actually go out of their way to hate on us for trying to enjoy our lives, be happy, and find love.
Seriously even if you believe it's against your religion, why should that have any impact on me? Last time I checked this was a secular nation with the freedom to choose any religious beliefs we want.
We deserve equal rights and you have no reason to deny them to us.
