Let your "God" sort out what sorts of marriage are an affront to "His word." People are guaranteed the right to practice religion as they want by the Constitution, and I'll be damned if Marriage isn't a religious practice.

Love is love. You can't control it; it simply happens. If people are able to marry inanimate objects, or themselves, people should also be allowed to marry someone they love, no matter what.

The government has no right to define love or limit who can express their love and commitment through marriage. If both parties are consenting adults who wish to marry of their own free will, that decision is theirs to make. Not the government's
