Marriage is between a man and a woman. Two men are called friends.

Free world. Who cares.

Marriage is between two people who love each other. It is a right and denying it to American citizens is a travesty.

Love is love. Gender of the 2 in love should matter. People shouldn't be closed minded. Open your minds and open up your hearts.

If you don't like gay marriage, marry someone of the opposite sex. What's it matter to you?

It matters because it messes up our society. It matters because innocent children may be exposed to it.

"Honey, that ain't love, lust maybe." It is love. Who are you to decide wether it is or not? I am a man who has been in a 3 loving year relationship with another man and lust has nothing to do with it. Maybe you have never been in love and that's why you don't know.

In the states that marriage was legalized in, society didn't fall apart. Teen pregnancy did not rise. Drug use did not rise. In fact, in Massachusetts, the divorce rate dropped! MA has the 3rd lowest divorce rate in the country. So exactly does it mess up society?

Virtue are you serious with this crap!! So exposing children to two loving men or women is worse than the shit that happens to children in homes with two people of the opposite sex? How many cases of child abuse/neglect have you heard occuring in homes where both parents are the same sex? Very few!!! And trust me from personal experience, a three year relationship, it is LOVE not lust. And can you explain how gay marriage would or is ruining society? Gay marriage isn't responsible for the high divorce rate in this country! You are ignorant and undeserving of the name you have given yourself!!!!

You people who are against gay marriage are obviously against love. which is dumb.. If youre taking away someones rights and telling them that the way they were born is wrong. you are the one thats wrong.. gays dont choose to be that way how can you deny them the right to marry. i bet if you looked it up the divorce rates for gays is significantly lower then the divorce rates for straight people. "Equality in pa" and Gay and in love" congrats on you being in your relationships.. i believe you two should be able to marry who ever you want. you dont want your childern exposed to gay marriage? then keep them locked up all day. so what if they are exposed to it. a black man or woman doesnt choose to be that way. they are born that way. its the same for gays. so get over yourself and deal with it.. open up your hearts and open up your minds. love is love and thats the way it should be. forever and always. i myself am bisexual. i cant wait to sit here and see what you have to say about that. i love who i love. love is love. and i can not stress that enough. it really shouldnt matter whats on the outside. we are all the same on the inside anyway. god made us the way we are we might as well just accept it.

Because I believe that everyone should be treated equal. If you love someone you should be able to marry that person.

Along with everything else, marriage is a legal status. Denying it to a consenting adult couple on the basis of gender is discrimination. It is unjust, unconstitutional, unAmerican and frankly just cruel. Same-sex couples should be allowed to marry in all 50 states. All that is stopping that is igonrance, fear and religious convictions from groups of people who preach love and justice.

Marriage is a legal contract and in most localities the legal requirements dictate that one person of each sex is required for it. There is no discrimination. How do you discriminate against a bizarre behavior?
