Gay Marriage Debate - Dothan, AL

If you were a true christian, you would not judge others for who they LOVE. If you believe that they'll be dammed to hell or whatever you believe, then believe it. No one is asking you to not to believe it. We are just asking you to give gays the right to marry the person they love, the right they should have had all along. Keep church and laws separate. It's not like they're killing people or anything. It's not like it's interfering with your life. If you believe what you believe in the end you'll find out who's right. Let people live their own lives, let them be happy and marry who they want. Don't spread the hate. Just open your mind. It won't damn you to hell if you just vote to let gays marry. It won't affect you in any way. It'll just bring happiness to others. Isn't that what we're suppose to be about in this country? I can't believe all the hate there is out there.

I completely agree with you. A lot of them want to pick and choose what they want from their religion. Divorce isn't frowned upon like Gay marriage.
