Love is love. If you hate someone for who they love it is only you that is going to hell.

It's a human right. It hurts no one. There is no more reason to discriminate against gay marriages than inter-racial marriages. If you use the Bible to ban gay marriages, you must also realize the Bible prohibits marriages between followers of two different religions. Should it be illegal for a Baptist to marry a Jew?

as a gay man in a 29+ year long term relationship, I find it a travesty that anyone would think that allowing me and my husband to "legally" wed should be denied.

Dont be upset with me. Im not the creator. He made the rules and who are we to cahnge them to our liking? We dont belong to ourselves, we belong to God. He created us for his divine plan, any deviations could result in hell instead of Heaven. Its all about sacrifice. Sacrifice yourself in order to experience salvation in the end. Its what we do in this lifetime that will decide ones fate in the end. Those who are strong enough to avoid temptation now, will get to witness either the Kingdom of God or Gods paradise. Those who give into temptation now, have already lived their paradise on earth. The bible clearly states this, I didnt make this up. Its ok, you dont have to listen but, as a Christian, its my duty to warn you. Do not respond, nothing you say is valid nor will it change my mind. May the grace of God be with you all and change the hearts of those who seek to not offend him.
