You can object to it on Religious grounds but there is no justification for it being illegal civil grounds.

I believe sometjings should remain sacared "one nation under God!", right to bear arms, the covenanat between a man and a woman. Why is it that those in the majority in this country have to constantly give in to the minority, I think we need to stop taking the high road. If you are gay fine, but why do you have to cram it down my throat. Trust me when I say I do not care what you do. I will always have my own views about marriage, yes they are historic and even biblical, but they are mine and do not deserve any less.

Justification, funny. Seems to me that there are a lot of people and a lot of groups that seek justification for there opions and life styles. Why? Must we all conform for the sake on the minoritiy. With divorse rates so high, why would you want to label yourself with something that is historically and biblically heterosexual. You have chosen an alternative lifestyle, and I would fight for your right to do so. That said why do you have to water down my believes. Do I not deserve the same protection. Marriage is something that I grew up believing was sacared, it is something I woould like to pass on to my children. Justification, I have it but you want to take it away, why? Justification? Fairness? Separate and Equal? Forgiveness? Understanding?

It's really none of our business who people choose to love. All people want are EQUAL rights, not more and certainly not less. There are so many benefits from being married from tax relief to insurance rights. That seriously is what is unfair. I do not care who you sleep with.. or love.. it's none of my business.

Ignorance is bliss... it's about justice for all.. P.S. The use of the "R" word makes you ignorant.

Whether it's between a man and a man, a man and a woman, or a woman and a woman, marriage is something everyone has the right to experience. Why do you care about the choice someone makes to get married if you believe God will overview them later? That's for him to decide, not you, so worry about yourself and your life instead of judging why a person wants certain things.

I personally believe that God doesn't make mistakes. He created us, he loves us. He wants us to love each other and take care of each other. I know what the Bible says about a man and a women, but the Bible does not say anything about gays/lesbians loving each other, so we don't really know how or what God says.

I personally believe that a children of God, we need to live and try to be as much like God as we can. I do not want to be judged, so I try very hard not to judge others. Also, I have friends who are gay and their gayness means nothing to me. I see the person, who they are. Everyone has value. We need to keep these things in our heart and mind.

How does gay marriage water down your beliefs? No one is forcing you to believe anything; and no one is stopping you from passing on your beliefs to your children. The only thing being asked is that the government acknowledge legal contracts made by two consenting adults who happen to be of the same-sex.

Besides, in a country where divorce is commonplace, where infidelity in marriage is rampant, and where anyone can compete on a reality TV show to "Marry a Millionaire", the argument about saving a sacred institution is kind of pointless.

Health insurance Companies will raise rates on everyone due to their own studies on diseases within a social niche. I don't agree with this practice, but it is how they do business and the only way I know of saving my own money is to vote against any proposed gay union.

We need to be more tolerant of people. This isnt like back in the day when whites could dictate what another person did with his/her life. This is a new era, of tolerance, of a black president, of the right for gay men and women to be in the armed forces openly...and soon to also get married! Vote now which ever way u please, its only a matter of time before its legal. Maybe not this year or next. But this new generation, is a generation of acceptance and tolerance. And soon enough, when you cant get your fat butt off your walker or couch, your kids are going to vote to stop this discrimination :)

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aries

You're idealistic and impressionable today, and want to see the best in everyone. Look straight past their faults, pretending they aren't there; concentrate on their good points instead. If a new relationship gets off the ground now it will always be characterized by an aura of romance and fantasy, and a slightly otherworldly quality.
