because it is against my belief to deny certain people their rights just because of their sexual orientation.

Every adult should be able to marry another adult regardless of their gender. Besides think of all the money the people who cater weddings and honeymoons would make. Who wants to say no to that?

I whole heartily feel that people should be able to make up their own minds in whom they want to marry. We have our rights, let them have theirs.

The designation "Gay marriage" is an inappropriate term. Marriage is a union made by God and is, by His Biblical revelation, a union between a man and a woman in order to bring offspring to populate His eternal kingdom. Any other union is outside the parameters of His "way, truth and life", and is a contrivance of perverted impulses. Although they may be legally accepted by the laws of man, they are contrary and unaccepted by the Divine Creator of all life. God is a God of order, and He has establish the way to be in marriage. Unless we submit to His will, we can not enter into the eternal society. Unbridled sensuousness is not love. Only the right use of the senses along with His order can be accepted by Him. True love cannot be separated from His order. Anything else is a deception from another spirit than His. Deception comes through sensual enticements that are contrary to His way of life, and myriads have cut themselves off by following this disorderly way of the Gay life.

I agree...it should just be marriage between two people who love each other enough to commit to sending the rest of their lives together...PERIOD.

I marry couples every day....

We all come from a dad (MAN) and a mom (WOMAN). That's the only way to have a natural family and to bring forth children. Any other way is unnatural. A marraige takes a man and a woman to fall in love and create a family. PERIOD.

And we wonder why others view those in VT as ignorant hillbillies?! All of you embarrass me with the holier than thou rhetoric & hiding behind "religious" ideals. For my own safety, please don't stand close to me on Judgement Day... God will have his hands full with all of you.
