I don't support gay rights. I support human rights. And no human deserves to be called second class because their heart points in a direction that YOU don't like.

people should be able to make their own decisions. if someone is gay that doesn't mean you have to be too, so why does it even matter. im straight and still supportive.

Love is boundless.

Because if this is about the church, why can people divorce yet homosexuals cannot marry? If this is about civil rights, what makes them any less human than you or me? The answer should be simple- allow gay marriage. How can this possibly hurt you in any way??

Everyone has a right to marry, end of story.

I believe that marriage is a legal right and not a religious privilege as some make it out to be. I pay taxes, I am registered to vote, and I should be ensured the right to marry whomever I desire to spend the rest of my life with whether it be a man or a woman. Second class citizenship is a serious issue that needs to be addressed once again in this country. As if we have not learned from history that someday we will look back upon the question of whether marriage equality should exist and say, "How stupid were we back then?"

Every American should have the same rights- regardless of orientation. gender, race or class.

"...or as I like to call it, marriage."

As a lesbian, it would be wonderful to be able to marry my girlfriend without having to move away from my friends and family.

Because no one deserves to be treated as a 'second class' human being for any reason.

despite what any religion you support may say, where is your values? who are we to deny someone's happiness?
