Ye they can but it not about pro-creation it about equality - or ould you like them to it on the back of the bus. Just give everyone equal health, death benefits and maybe the marriage issue will be solved after all what is marriage but a piece of paper, its the divorce rate like 80%, so marriage it not all its cracked up to be.

I see no harm in loving someone and wishing to have a committed relationship (marriage) and the legal rights that go with it.

As has already been said, by that logic it would be immoral to allow the infertile, the old, or the pregnancy-threatened ill to marry! We managed to successfully reinvent marriage during the Renaissance to be about twue wuv rather than mere politics or procreation, I don't think we need to go back to those uncivilized times x3 As a gay man that would absolutely LOVE to be able to marry the man he loves and have kids with him (adoption! What a lovely option, especially considering the terribly inflating child orphan population and the general reluctance for the majority procreation-capable marriages to help out there), I can assure you that this is hardly an argument at all :3
