i am not gay, but i have no right to tell someone who the can or can not marry. I am in a interracial marriage. this is number two. people think that a white man should not be married to a black woman. so it goes both ways. either way you are born into this world alone unless your are a twin and you will die alone. you should be happy while you are alive and you owe no one but God any explinations of why you chose the path you chose.

People can marry who they want.

I tried so hard to reject being gay at first. I would never willingly CHOOSE to have to put up with the shit I did.

I do not support gay marriage, but I do support their right the benefits that go along with marriage; health care, hospital claims, etc... But, it is not a marriage by definition.

If civil unions aren’t an issue but the word marriage is, why don’t we make all unions CIVIL unions and relegate the word marriage back to what it originally was; a ceremony performed by the church representing the union of two people. That way if a church doesn’t want to perform a marriage ceremony for a particular couple they don’t have to, the couple can just go to a different church that will perform it. i myself am not gay but i also believe i do not have the right to say who gets to be happy and who doesnt.

I believe in equal rights for all people and this includes gays and their families. The federal government should recognize gay marriage so that gay families can gain the benefits that come along with the institution of marriage; the right to carry a spouse and children on their group healthcare plan, the right to be with their loved one if they are in teh hospital, etc.
