Gay Marriage Debate - Charlotte, NC

God created Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve. Legal unions, no problem and give them similar rights as married couples but, to call that a marriage is a joke.

There is absolutly no reason that Gay "Unions" should be allowed, or legal, for any type of benefits, nor should Shack-up marriages! If it ain't legal in God's eye's, who is Man to change that? Gay, in my opinion, is a choioce, and sometimes a choice for "Trendy" reasons. I lived in California for the first 18 years of my life,( no choice) from San Diego to the Oregon Border, from San"Gay Bay" Fran to Truckee, and never in those first 18 years did ANY study say that to be "Queer" was normal and just as common as Male/Female children and determined in the Womb. ALL studies, by ANYONE, prior to the Gay movement in Hollywood, New York, the "Industry" and the SF Bay area in the early '70s declared Gay a choice. ONLY AFTER the "Movement" hired the studies from Universities and Colleges hungry enough to get the "Movement's" results was it EVER declared "Natural". The Special interests paying huge dollars politically have Hamstrung the Free society that does know right from wrong, but still force their lies down our throats at every turn.

There is not such a thing as marriage for gays They will have to come up with a different terminology for their association

OF COURSE! Gay men who are coupled / gay women who are coupled are no different from straight couples. Of course, they have the sex they have, but that goes without saying. In all other respects they are married already. If it walks like a duck...

Get over the semantics issue. Marriage is a Legal Union by another name, which means it's the exact same thing. There's no reason to have 'civil unions' or 'legal unions' when they're marriages UNDER the law. God already recognizes the union. Remember, priest and ministers don't marry people; People marry people in witness before God.

It isn't right ....

Do we really need to explain. Everyone deep down knows that it is morally wrong. Even if two of the same sex provide a good upbringing for a child. The child will still be confused, and most likely ridiculed for the parents lifestyle. Gay marriage is not a good thing for society because over all it causes chaos and confusion.

It is not the natural order of things. It is totally unnatural.
