Gay Marriage Debate - Charleston, SC

Marriage is between a man (male) and a woman (female). Plainly, homosexuals have chosen to reject the concept of marriage --- as a same-sex partnership does not meet the basic requirements. However, homosexuals have no right to redefine human society's definition simply because they have personally rejected it. Further, society is not responsible to them to reorder the naturally defined world so that homosexuals' deviant world seems more acceptable to them.

Why should we judge and control what people do and don't do? We should let everyone do what they want because it's their lives not ours. We all have enough stress without having to worry about two men or two women getting married. The bible isn;t everything and it isn't going to do anything, we the people must fight on our own to live and survive in this world.

Why shouldn't gay people have the same civil rights as the rest of America? Those opposing the idea should read the constitution not Leviticus.

Why not? Do you really think god is so weak that he needs laws of man to help him out? If not, then if two people love eachother, two consenting adults let them do what they want.

Evidently you are not of the christian faith. Bible is very explicit on this. If you are a christian, you cannot get around this.
