As a country, we have no right to deny one group what we will give to another, whether based on race, sex, or sexuality.

As long as gays have to pay taxes, sign up for the draft, and work themselves to death to make a living just like everyone else, they should be allowed to get married just like everyone else. Your idea of love isn't any better than theirs so who are you to judge what they can and can't do. Pay their taxes for them, then say they can't get married.

People's bigoted and misguided philosophical views should not prevent others' lifestyles and pursuits of happiness from coming to fruition.

Why didn't I grow up somewhere where there weren't so many people who want to deny others a pretty basic human right?

It's not my place to tell people who they can and cannot love, and who they can and cannot marry.

There shouldn't be such thing as ""gay"" marriage- it's all just marriage. The fact that it's treated as some sort of different thing is part of the problem.

Two people should be allowed to get married if they are both of age and consenting. Religious differences, gender differences, and racial differences shouldn't matter.

As long as they do not adopt children and expect special treatment (both of which they have done), then I'm fine with them. Children are impossible in nature, it's understandable if a heterosexual couple adopts a kid because someone is sterile, again, that's nature/god/whatever...it's biologically impossible for a homosexual to have a child with someone of the same gender- it doesn't go with the package, so by that stance you chose a life in which kids cannot be created, but you want the added perks to being a hetero. It's a little disturbing. The human race is not evolving to the point where one can get pregnant from anal sex or rubbing slits.
As long as you know what you can and cannot do, do your thing gays.

It is also biologically impossible for sterile women to have a baby with a healthy man, and for sterile men to have a baby with a healthy woman. So, by your own argument, they, too, should not be allowed to adopt children. Women at or past menopause should not be allowed to adopt children. An elderly couple should not be allowed to adopt children. A single man or a single woman should not be allowed to adopt children, either. So if you want to band all those above from having children then, by all means, go right ahead. Do you know what that means for children, though? They will live their entire lives in orphanages and being tossed around from foster home to foster home because people who would give them a warm, loving home would not be able to adopt them because bigots like you can't stand the thought of their parents being of the same gender. You sicken me, "Just Saying."
