it never hurt us to grow up farming so it sure as heck wont hurt kids now days doing it. If it was to b regulated then there would b more kids to grow up w a poor work ethic and lord knows this world doesnt need that

My children were all raised on a small farm, they had chores every day for at least an hour or two. Now they are all grown with great work ethics and great jobs. They look back at it and have all said they liked it and appreciated the lessons. They also were taught that the first year of their first job, they were allowed to save half and spend half. They all bought their 1st car after the year was up. No, it wasnt a new car but they sure were proud of the fact they paid for it.

I think it depends on a couple of things. You know farm chores need to be regulated if you find your overgrown boy with a sheep dressed up with a mop on it's head, wearing lipstick and Maw's high heels.
Also, Clem don't need to be going in the henhouse with his egg gathering basket more than once or twice a day.
