I think its great that these kids are not bein popped out into hard labor. Ive seen to many times kids pushing mowers and picking veggies and bailing hay. Be a good example and teach hardworking skills but let them be kids. Let them see you work and follow you when there adults. Let the kids be kids!

I'm the opposite, I had the same experience as a 'kid' but it gave 'me' the desire and ambition and work ethic to succeed!

Wow what a warped way of thinking!! How in the world do you think. Letting a kid sit on their rearend and watch others work teaches good work ethic or how to work??? All that does is make a spoiled, lazy, kid. And he/she will grow up think others will always do their work for them through life!! And news flash if you want anything in life you must work for it! Teach them how to earn money and things while they are young so they will know what to expect as an adult!!

And a family that works together, is usually bonded tighter. It gives them common goals and a mutual interest. And this is hard to get with kids at times! Most farm kids enjoy working in the fields and on the farm! You don't usually see farm kids, over weight, obese and have diabetes by time they are 13! We are not using them as slaves from daylight to dark! They have free time to be kids. After there responsibilities are handled. My kids have 2 diffrent video gaming systems they have free time every evening and the would rather be outside doing something productive and enjoying the things they find in nature. They might choose the video games once a month if that and then that's only on a day where weather won't permit being outside!! And by being otside I don't mean doing as a lot of parents do and letting your kids run the streets!! And have no idea what they are doing or where they are at! That is just the making of a juvenile! Structure your children's time give them routine and expectations and watch them thrive!!

The goverment needs to quit telling people how to raise there children. I am sure those in Washington trying to pass the BS bill have never done anymore physical labor then push a pencil to paper!! When our kids don't learn how to cary on the family farm who's gonna feed all of those hungry politians who think we can teach our kids how to farm out of a text book! There are just some things you need to learn as you grow up and hands on!!

Yes, the government knows what's best for us!
After all, our all-knowing, all-wise Obama is better equipped at leading us in our daily lives.

The reason???

Obama and the federal government see the American people as incapable of functioning properly in day-to-day living. The American public does not have the intellectual capacity of an Obama to make proper decisions. That is why Obama knows what's best in regulating farm chores instead of the parents.

You see, while growing up, Obama saw how successful those that he looked up:(Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin, Idi Amin) that he wants to use their techniques on the American public. Obama is only doing it for our own good. Don't you see???

Doing some physical labor would be good for these fat-ass, lazy-ass Rushville kids.
Get them away from the TV and away from the video games and teach them the value of a dollar with physical labor.
It's no wonder Rushville kids are lazy and grow up to be lazy adults.

must be why we have so many lazy people collecting welfare and disabilty cause they were lazy when they were kids they expected their parents to take care of them their whole life and now they expect everyone else to take care of them and their kids

This sounds completely nuts. When you compare a democratically elected president with a genocidal dictator you lose all credibility I felt the same way about idoits trying to call G.W. bush hitler. You should say something like he's a lousy president or has bad policies but don't throw around stalin comparisons until evidence of mass murder is found. Your post makes you sound incredibly paranoid like you have mental health issues. I would suggest you seek help but you probably think that since the health care bill passed hospital psychiatrists now report patient info to Obama death squads
