This Senator need to be sent to the showers maybe an early one!!!

Excerpt from a quality Health newsletter:

1)"Senator Durbin of Illinois launched a “sneak attack” on supplements by attempting to slip an amendment through on the back of a Senate bill scheduled for vote the following day; the amendment (No 2127) would have created unnecessary regulations that could have resulted in supplements being pulled from store shelves".."

2)"Senator Durbin is engaged in an ever-increasing number of attempts to restrict your freedom of choice about your health, in terms of the foods you eat and the supplements you take. Durbin introduced S 1310 in 2011 (Dietary Supplement Labeling Act), a bill that threatens the dietary supplement industry by granting the FDA more power to regulate supplements as if they were drugs, effectively putting supplement companies out of business

3)"In a recent speech on the Senate floor, Durbin dispersed blatant misinformation to his legislative colleagues, captured on video
Durbin and others would have you believe supplements are dangerous and need further regulation; however, supplements have FAR fewer reported adverse reactions than either drugs or vaccines and are already FDA regulated
Legislative tactics such as Amend. 2127 represent part of a plan by the drug industry, in partnership with FDA, to eliminate their primary competition by taking control of the supplement industry, in order to soften the impact of impending decreased revenues from expiring drug patents"

*****This despite the fact Pharmaceuticals have proven to be 62,000 times more dangerous to your health. How much pharmaceutical money is going directly into his pocket? Inquiring minds want to know? To me,Sen. Durbin sounds utterly disturbed.

Sen. Durbin need to simply carted off the Senate floor. No? Too harsh?

Doesn't the likes of the Romney types prove conclusively that the means in which the government goes about sustaining itself needs drastic and dramatic revision? The collection of taxes in this country is grossly inequitable and totally unfair.

It drastically needs to be overhauled and the current ways and means put in moth balls permanently.

"On June 14, the FDA awarded GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) a license to sell MenHibrix,

a new vaccine that combines two meningitis vaccines into one shot,

without asking the agency’s own vaccine advisory committee for an opinion,

Despite the fact the FDA had rejected the license in 2010 and 2011 because GSK had trouble proving the vaccine actually worked"

******Despite GSK was involved in the largest health care fraud in medical history as well.!!!

How utterly and simply absurd ,insane and stupid is the conduct of the FDA

and nothing is being done about. How many more healthcare frauds do they want?

Give me a break.

Fox business, now tout GSK

Is this Sen.Durbin what you really want?I rather see someone take some vitamins that deadly pharmaceuticals that have a 62,000 better chance of killing you. No?

They should dispense with the entire Pharma Industry!!!!This is absolutely repugnant, I liked to vomit.

That is disturbing FM Jerry, I'd like to think part of the FDA's approval process is researching all available information, reports and studies before awarding any licenses to distribute pharmaceuticals!

I'd say dispense with the banking industry as well. However, the whole economy thing is ALL cyclical.
Some would argue why do we need so many of this and so many of that in different industries, some debate just have one. Which happens, but then the one screws up and the public swings back around, demanding more options more choices and next thing we have more than enough businesses involved through different industries and the cycle begins again.

I really believe our country is just too far in debt, with no relief in sight. The spending needs to stop all across the board. I don't want the USA to get mixed up in middle eastern spats, save for standing side by side with Israel. I don't think universal healthcare is the answer, I think at this point the border should be locked down! Not one dime should go overseas to help folks, we have too many issues here at home that need attention.
If this country had to go into debt, I'd rather it been for giving as many people the opportunity to increase their learning, rather than rebuilding countries that clearly hate Americans or bailing out banks or giving too much power to ins. companies.
There is not a person in this coming election that can do any of those things. So the best choice is the one who appears best suited to begin to straighten out the worst of the problems...the economy...Put a person in office who has shown they know how to earn money, maybe that will work to getting this country on it own two feet and off Chinas back.

I am not sure of this but how come the government doesn't simply selling off all those assets that are simply accumulating dust, like buildings we don't need, confiscated assets from tax dodgers etc,??

This should generate a lot of money plus eliminate the cost to maintain.Put it towards the debt.

Glaxo pays billions in fraud and then they still award them a contract, I'm still shaking my head in disbelief.

Bootzie,

Many see my attacks on Romney as "sophomoric" including Wings Plus on sample rd, known as Republican Headquarters,

Someone needs to educate these "Republicans", simply because the truth is often said in jest.

And the truth always hurts.

This is simply an indication they simply do not have any rebuttal whats so ever to my comments, so they simply say "grow up". That's the childish response.

Thanks for the compliment Wings Plus, Is that the best rebuttal you have?, my comments are sophomoric?

Brian and Junior Walsh, I want my college ring back, and then both of you would understand where I'm coming from especially if either of you had any education.
Not so?

Your lack of a quality education puts you behind the eight ball, time and time again.

The Mrs. still has no clue as to the reasons I marched into your establishment. The exploitation of children is irrelevant to them.

Brian go back to school and get an education, join Emauss, like I previously asked you, your wife included.See my brothers over at St. Andrews, the Lord is waiting for you both to open your eyes.

Is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid being too sophomoric? I don't think so at all!! I think he's being extremely realistic.

The Republicans including Mitt Romney have no rebuttal, so were all now being sophomoric, well I think you Republicans are simply being moronic.

Harry Reid is indicating that Mitt Romney, in the mold of Richard Roundhouse Nixon, hasn't paid taxes for ten straight years, Why do I somehow believe this?
and if elected will simply resign,

Trump is still searching for a birth certificate,
that all he's got to do with his time, he surely
can't do the wave.

I really think,

Mitt Should Quit,

Mitt Should quit,

The Republicans

should borrow from a guy named Peter

and put up Ron Paul.

I might take another look.

But President Obamas famuly values and what he means to the black people of America, I don't think your going to get me to change my stance.

I would be honored to run as a Vice President under President Obama, as I see it, VP Biden, reminds me of one of my college professors at Baruch,

Sleepy Joe Weissman.

Is Mitt implying those people of Peace, like President Carter are simply wimps? On the contrary Mr. Romney, it shows we are of enormous strength,he strength to use restraint.

Mr. Romney, What is war good for? Absolutely nothing.

Now Mitt, say that yourself over and over again sir.

Are you that sadistic of a person who enjoys the living hell of war creates? Dig that Sen,McCain, maybe you should explain to your colleague Mr. Romney exactly what war is all about. It's easy
to send someone else son Mitt?

Do you really want another Iranian Holocaust. Wasn't the Hebrew one enough?

Mr. Mitt, Am I being too sophomoric?

Mitt, I am on Social Security, so send the I.R.S. after me again like George Bush, well as mom would say emphatically, Bush beans too you Mitt.

I made $10,000.00 as a Security Officer and George sends the I.R.S. after me, spent hours and hours examining data at taxpayers expense. George, Why didn't Romoney bags get audited.

I would audit every single last 1% and probably cover the deficit.!!!! The first being George Bush.

Wings Plus, I've been to the place 2xs in 20+ yrs, not in the last 15, except when nominees stop by for a campaign pitch.
So I cannot speak intelligently regarding how that establishment operates! If they help local kids make a few bucks or earn service hours, I say kudos to them. I would like to think they run the place within the guidelines of federal child labor laws. I think they would be stupid not to, with the exposure they get from various politicians!
However, I do think it's a good thing ( regardless of party affiliation ) that a local business within Coral Springs can draw candidates to speak to city folks about their platform. There is nothing wrong with gathering folks together to share ideas and hear about what concerns folks have in where the country is headed.

FM Jerry,

Does it really matter if one is Dem/Rep or whatever party affiliation one wants to call it?
Folks are TOO caught up in labels ( largely due to media and personal laziness ). My idea is to listen to the pitch, research the track record, examine the feasibility of the pitch, determine if the result benefits the USA as whole or just a minority ( special interest ), look at how it will effect me personally.
Society today is ALL ABOUT ME, ME ME ME ME! No wonder so many politicians flip flop some of their stances, it depends on how the media driven political winds blow.

Here's some things to ponder,... How about we have 'socialized education' Government sponsored college. I wonder how quickly we close the gap on China/India with Science & Technology.

A fair tax? How about NO tax. Make it user fee driven. It leaves no fat to trim.

If I lived in fantasy land, maybe one of those would be 'spot on' but the reality is until this country's attitude of instant self gratification and the "ME" mentality subsides...it's a quick death down a steep slope.

It'd be nice to live in a time of say mid-40 to mid 50s, the USA was on a high, people looked out for each other, the country was building itself and innovating things, and those were all American made. We were not picking others nose, until Korea in the late 50s.

That style of thinking is what is needed today.

Boots,

Are you on Facebook? Please go to my timeline
on Facebook. I respond to many things you write about especially "Fair Tax". A Fed State and Local sales tax, I no longer think is the way to go but have to give it more thought. Municipalities can't collect the right amount of sales tax now, it will only get worse.

Do you think our Olympians who are out in front of China, Japan, Germany and Russia should pay income tax on there GOLD metals. While Mitt has his money all over Europe dodging taxes and wants you to vote for him. Isn't that simply crazy?

In order to simply things, there just needs to be a shifting in spending priorities. The shifting of appropriations for thing you mentioned but certain things need to be eliminated as well. Balance the budget!!!It's not hard to do.Too much PORK. Pork is unhealthy.

Boots you sound like a good guy. If your not on facebook, I'll respond to some of your other concerns.

Your right me me me attitude, or looking out for number one by Mitt Romney.

I agree Boots, I think it all started when the book came out,Looking out for number one.

Clint Eastwood and Jenna Jameson are simply off the wall for supporting Romney bags.

Celebrities should stay out of politics and do what they do best and that is to act. Because there good actors doesn't mean they have a clue about anything and probably have very little upstairs. They have always been feed their lines, so how can they now think for themselves. Clint stick to acting.

High Five on that F M Jerry! I don't care to see 'celebrities ' interviewed on CNN or FOX, I'd be willing to bet my hard earned paycheck, a lot of what they spew would be different if they didn't live in the lap of luxury.
Let's hear from John in Chicago or Jane in Houston or Tom in Sacramento or Daisy in Raleigh.

It's easy to forget, the way to have an impact on political policy is by paying attention to local government. Know who your local politicians are and what they stand for. Some of them make up the Congress, whom actually share the power to effectuate changes.

I'd would be really impressed to see voter turnout % higher for local/regional elections compared to Presidential elections.

I sold enough Christmas Cards reciting those exact words, now if we only listened to the advice of the
