His indifference toward the American people and everything that our country was founded upon and stands for was unmistakably evident in his first term. I'm afraid of how he is going to be in a second term knowing that he can't run for a third. He'll have nothing to lose, so why should he even attempt to do a good job?
I don't believe that he has this country's best interest at heart. He seems to put himself himself and his own image ahead of the people and is pretentious enough to believe that he knows what's best for all.
His campaign seems to be more about sullying the character of his political opponent(s) than standing on his own merit and accomplishments. It's almost as though he's saying "Yeah, I've been a bad president... but this guy would be worse!".
Personally, I don't like Romney either, but I think that we need to change our current path, starting with the presidency. Our vote is the only voice we have to which the government will actually pay heed.
A president with a business background will probably have a better chance, no matter how slim, than one with a background in law at helping the current economy. That doesn't mean that I think he'll succeed, I just think that there is a better chance. I would rather someone with a business background try and fail than never be given the opportunity to try.
