I live in Texas right now and am not especially enamored with Rick Perry. He has done nothing on the border except talk, he tried to ram the "Trans Texas Corridor down everyone's throat using Eminent Domain in an attempt to take people's land and have the system built by foreign companies, he supports Sanctuary Cities, he used his office to force young girls into taking a vaccine which should have been the parent's choice, and he did not support the Arizona law when Texas is having people killed along the border and shots fired into El Paso.

I am looking at Hermann Cain. He has come up the hard way working to where he has gotten unlike Mitt Romney or Rick Perry. He is a business man who has had the dirty, menial jobs so many of us have had to try to work ourselves up the ladder. He speaks straight and his 9/9/9 plan appears to make sense. Anyway, look at him and see what you think.

I would like to make a prediction and I will see if I an right . Mitt Romney can win in a larger election outside of the red states.the reason I think this is:In an election here in Rio Rancho the only people who bothered to vote were in the tea party, who came out to vote down a road building bond( it was 6% of the voters)But in a larger election everyone shows up and only the moderate would have a chance of wining the next election, even if they are boring as hell.because everyone is sick of the polar extremes with people who can`t reach across party lines, and people (like me) are sick of all the lies and broken campain pledges and will want to punish Obama for not being able to deliver the promises he made.So talk to me whwn it`s over and see if I am right.

You may be correct. Your points are well founded. However, politicians such as Perry and Romney don't really excite me because compromise is their middle name. I would like to see someone who stands on principle, is not a career politician, and has been where I have been. In other words, someone who can relate to the people and what they are going through in these times trying to make a living and raise a family. I also like people who have lived the American dream without starting with a silver spoon in their mouth. It's much easier to start or run a business when you start out with money.

Good luck and we'll see if you are right in the long run.

If compromise is their middle name than I will like them more.I am sick of the stagnation.

Looks like you are right now I see that Cain is the new man to knock down(,in the flavor of the month contest).

There is still a long way to go and we'll see what the news media digs up on Cain or how he handles himself in the next debates. Without a big financial base, he may have a hard time keeping up with Perry or Romney unless he gets a big endorsement from someone like Palin, Rubio, or Donald Trump (with a lot of his money).

I agree, Clark. Cain could be a contender. He seems to be climbing up on the polls (well, on some of them) but I think he has some very good ideas for a new tax program. He appears to be a decent man with principles...something we are seriously lacking in our government.

He did not get Christie (I don`t know the spelling)As someone who has to work very hard for money I am worried that a federal sales tax would hurt someone like me.because it is regressive.

I would suggest you go on the web and read the plan in detail. I think you will find that you will probably pay less if he gets rid of the other taxes especially our current tax system. However, as always, the devil is in the details to quote Michelle Bachman.

Try this link where Herman Cane presents the plan himself on Squawk Box TV News Program:

If this doesn't work, you can look up Squawk Box.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
