It's been proven to work in Europe; taking the taboo out of drinking causes less drunk driving and binge drinking. This is also cliche, but if dying for our country is ok, I think we should have the freedom to ingest what we wish at the same age.

all you guys and girls who can die for this country. deserve at least a beer, legally of course. As well as the teens who purchase street drugs, if they had a beer would they go get high instead?

at 21 some people can't even act like decent human beings...adding 18 year olds into the mix is just stupid

If you can smoke and serve your country why not be able to drink.

even most 21 yr olds are not responsible enough to drink!! Just imagine a bunch of 18 yr olds out drinking and driving... death rates would be out of this world!!

If u have a military ID then sure, drink. Cuz most of them dudes need a beer. I perfer weed over liquor or beer, just never had a taste for it, so idt that lowereing age would keep the kids from getting high, if thats what theyd rather do. 21 is good, unless ur a soldier..then yeah they should b able to drink, and I think pot should b legal too, and in 5 years it prolly will be.

Its not about the number of your age. It's about the way your body reacts to it. I think that you all need to do a little research as well. It's an awful addiction. And no I do not think because you sign up to fight and die for your country you should be able to drink. What's that saying... It's ok that your stressed here have a beer it'll dry your tears? No it won't it takes the pain go away for the time you're intoxicated if you can handle it and for those that can't it makes it worse. Not a good idea to change the age soldier or not. Soldiers need love and companionship when they come home. Not alcohol.

I think it should be the same as Wisconsin, if you can sit in a chair or stool and reach the bar,,,,,you can drink-Provided your legal guardian is sitting beside you! If you are under 21 and caught drinking with or without your guardian the penalty is 2X what it is for those over 21
