Mel Columbus, NE	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Dec 9, 2011 There are to many alcohol related accidents the way it is and i believe lowering it to 18 will just cause an increase. A drinking age of 18 would include some high school seniors which will only cause an increase in procurring. It's just a bad idea all around. Why do we want our youth to grow up so quickly?

You are telling me that an 18year old is responsible and mature enough to enlist in the military but not have a beer? I agree that SOME 18 year olds aren't mature enough, but there are plenty of 25 year olds who aren't either.
