18 year ols think they are old enough, but really they are still young with developing bodies

If you are old enough to vote and to put your life on the line in the military at 18, then you should be able to drink a beverage that contains alcohol!

It's true that a lot of teens are drinking.....however it's a well known fact that when you have to sneak to do stuff, that people won't do as much of it.

WRONG! From my experience kids who have to sneak it drink way more that when it's allowed. There's just something about not being allowed to do it that makes them want to do it more.

Old enough to die for your country, why not old enough to drink in your country

On the contrary teens are drinking younger these days. lowering the age will cause more teen deaths due to drinking related wrecks

Jonesboro's populated with staggering, falling down drunks, drunks that drive drunk, drunks that copulate drunk, drunks that abuse, drunks that kill. The kids in those households are drinking before they get out of middle school. You know it, you just don't want to admit it. Open your eyes. Ask the people dealing with the mess. You know it's true.
