So raise the enlisting age so that a persons body is done growing a developing. Medical research shows that a persons brain and other organs are not fully developed until at least the age of 21. This means that it is more harmful to a persons development to drink alcohol before that, also since the age change there are about 21000 less deaths from drinking and driving crashes.

You can be 6 and in a bar with dad or pawpaw and as long as gramps buys and hands it to you, it is legal. This goes for all of Ohio. When you have it like that, why lower the drinking age? lawl

In all of Ohio, you can be 6 and as long as mom, dad and sometimes grandpa buys it and hands it to you, and you're inside, it is legal. Not sure why we need the age lowered with a law like this. lawl

You cannot be given alcohol in a public place by a parent if you are under the age of 21, you can in the privacy of your own home. It has to be the child's legal guardian and the parent/guardian has to stay with the child while the alcohol is eliminated from your system. What is the difference in giving a child alcohol or giving them bleach they are both toxic chemicals that are harmful. I call that child abuse!

Sweetheart, the law states that Ohio is one of the 30 states that allows it on private, non alcohol selling premises, with parental consent. Which includes Private home, private property, or private property.

the establishment has the right to refuse to serve the minor. So back to my original statement - you cannot take a 6 year old anywhere in Ohio and have them served even with their legal guardian.

Science has proven y anyone below the age of 21 should not drink. You can die for your country at any age, look at the war. Not just people in the military are dying. Who cares what the drinking age should be, start fighting for legalization of marijuana! Then I doubt ud be too worried about alcohol considering it causes those effects due to it being a toxin in your body. Plus 21 yr olds are better at decision making while under the influence than most 18 yr olds. There would be a ton more of DUI's if they lowered it.
