At 18, kids think they are invincible. Give them the ability to drink, makes it worse.

At 18, they are not kids, they're old enough for the gov. to send them over seas to get shot at why can't they have a beer?

As stated above, they still think nothing can happen to them. You mix a "young adult" with the ability to drink and.drive and bad things will happen. Hell, young adult drivers are too reckless w/OUT alcohol. And you can't tell me they won't drink and drive. You are entitled to your opinion, I have mine. We don't have to agree...that's what makes it interesting! ;)

As for lowering the age to 18 I believe there is good and bad from booth sides but as a former solider in the army I agree of you are old enough to die for your country you should be old enough to have a drink I have lived all over the world and the united states is the only country that the age is 21

True, but children grow up around alcohol in other countries and people don't make it as taboo as is done here in the U.S. By the way....thanks for serving our country! Hooah!

for one thing we have an all volunteer army,i was in during the vietnam war at age 17,but the way the world is now i damn sure dont want a drunk 18year old texting while driving a car at 60-70 mph nor do i want a 21 year old person doing the same.they need to learn to drive which in its self is hard enough, lets not give them another way to get killed

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
